Battling Over The Children Document Package

This well-prepared religious group has its own unique tactics in a court of law. Jehovah's Witnesses are instructed to perjure themselves by misrepresenting their true lifestyle in court. Thad Nugent, prominent Kansas City Attorney adds that this booklet, "...recommends the giving of testimony under oath which is known to be untrue. By statutory definitions, that's perjury".

Other Lawyers and Judges, former JW elders, and victims give their experiences in court.To counter this booklet, Duane Magnani has been prepared for the legal profession, a companion book called, "Refutation of Preparing For Child Custody Cases".

Now, point by point, using their booklet and the "Refutation" book, the Lawyer representing the non-JW parent can counter the JW testimony given under oath. At the crux of the matter is the Watchtower definition of a "lie". You should be aware that they believe they must tell the truth to only those who are "entitled to know the truth".

This is "justified lying" in their minds. Since they also believe that all others except Jehovah's Witnesses are under the control of Satan, including the courts, they feel quite smug about doing so.

Why make all this public? Because the children are systematically alienated from their peers, and even non-Witness relatives. They are put in harm's way, both emotionally and physically. The children are the real victims. We trust we have created a level playing field for them, because we see thousands of courtrooms turned into war zones as Jehovah's Witnesses battle over the children with their former mates.
